THE COLLECTION
VOLT1 is TOWORKFOR's dedicated line of safety footwear for electrical professionals. Where most safety shoes include anti-static (ESD) features, VOLT1 takes the opposite approach — these shoes are deliberately non-conductive, protecting electricians from electrical shock rather than just static discharge.
The VOLT1 collection is certified and tested for use in environments up to 18,000 volts. Every component is selected for its insulating properties: non-metallic fiberglass or PU toe cap, FUSION nitrile rubber sole with zero metal components, and no conductive pathways anywhere in the construction.
The WATT boot and OHM shoe share the same protection philosophy but differ in coverage — the boot provides ankle-height protection for work in more exposed electrical environments, while the low shoe suits controlled indoor electrical work. Both are SB-rated (basic safety, no anti-static) because for electricians, anti-static ESD protection would create a conductive path — exactly what you don't want when working on live electrical systems.

Basic safety classification — deliberately excludes ESD/anti-static to prevent conductive path formation on live electrical systems
Water Resistant Upper (WR)
Upper material rated for water resistance to keep feet dry in all working conditions
Heat Resistant Sole (HRO)
Outsole tested to resist contact with hot surfaces up to 300°C for 60 seconds
Non-metallic Construction
No metal anywhere in the shoe — safe through metal detectors and in electromagnetic-sensitive environments
